WHERE CHAMPIONS COME TO PLAY

In our sixth year as title sponsor of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, we continue to introduce players and fans to our “New Thinking.  New Possibilities” philosophy.  Played at the famed Kapalua Plantation Course on the island of Maui, HI, the select field is restricted to players winning a PGA TOUR tournament from the previous season.

Jordan Spieth dominated the 2016 field, shooting 30 under par for the week and earning his seventh PGA TOUR victory.  The win tied him with Tiger Woods for the most victories on the PGA TOUR by age 23.  With the victory, Spieth will receive a brand new Hyundai Genesis.

THE FIELD

The 2016 Hyundai Tournament of Champions featured an elite field restricted to players winning a PGA TOUR tournament from the 2015-16 season.  Six of the top 10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking and the winners of all four majors participated in the tournament.  Joining them were a many of the game’s top players, including 2015 champions Patrick Reed, Jimmy Walker, Bill Haas, Brooks Koepka, Brandt Snedeker, Dustin Johnson, J.B. Holmes, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Justin Thomas and others.
